Hi guys, I thought I would take the opportunity to answer some questions I’ve been getting about the site (while I await my latest shipment).
“why is it so dark?”,
“where are the pretty pictures of the senshi?”
“why is Luna so creepy?”
The answers stem from a concept I started thinking about a few years ago. Sailor Moon, the movie. A real “live action” Hollywood movie. With a real budget, what would it be like to be awakened from your sleep by a talking cat? To be told you are “chosen” to be a 14 year old warrior for justice? How would you react?
This is the atmosphere I hoped to create with the Luna image. I think with out a doubt Tim Burton is the man to direct this movie, the rest I will leave to your imagination. I’m sure as time goes by I will brighten up the site a lil but right now I like it. It is the least colorful Sailor Moon site on the net! Yosh!

  1. Eeeee….I say do it! I would love to see this movie. I’ve been a fan of Sailor Moon for as long as I can remember and I would love to see a movie on it.

  2. I’ve been waiting for an honest to god, live-action Sailor Moon movie for years. You are spot on though with Tim Burton, he is dark enough to make it more realistic, yet he is proven he can go lighter with Alice in Wonderland. So it would be a win win either way. This movie would be incredible. Now if only someone would make it.

  3. I’d love to see it happen, but I’m afraid it would be another “Avatar:TLA” situation, or just “Avatar”, where it’s pretty but lacks a good story to back it up. (Or worse, we get a lot of awful slang like in the dub.)
I’m sooooo glad my eyes were opened to the real subtitled Sailor Moon.
I’m not a Tim Burton fan and I don’t know much about directors, but I’d love to see Steven Spielburg direct it if it ever happened because I love Jurrassic Park.
I made a dream cast list. You can check it out on my Youtube page. Everyone please leave a comment and tell me what you think! (I still have yet to makes lists for the other seasons. Hmm.
    Maybe Alex Pettyfer for Elios?)

  4. I would like to see a live action movie made but concerned that if they did do it it might ruine the majic of the sereies…
another issue would be if they would stick to the story at all…. another would be where would they decide to pick up the movie at the begining or after the stars or even during the stars series…
if it happens i would be like so excited but at the same time worried how it was going to go and who was going to play the roles…

  5. As much as I’d like to see a Live Action Sailor Moon movie, I dout it will ever happen. It’s been almost 20 years since SM was on. If they were going to do it, it would have been done by now.

  6. I wish this could happen!! I would love it so much. 😀 but, make sure the ‘slang’ used in the dubs (which was aweful I must say), is not included!! I think that since movie making technologies have been improving, it would be a perfect time to create this!! 🙂

  7. I would love to see a live action sailor moon movie. I have all the epps made from season 1 to season 5 plus the japanese live action tv show. It would be amazing to see what usa could come up with. I will keep my fingers crossed, lol, waiting…….

  8. Well i think it would be great. I mean i have watched all the sailor moon live action tv show episodes but a movie would just rock

  9. i say both Tim Burton, and Steven Spielberg should team up and make it to gather and make it i would also not even use the original story lines but rather a complete different one altogether kinda like there are power puff girls an power puff girls z. also it took 20+ years to make a dbz movie witch was a bit on the crappy side.
if you haven’t noticed all the sailor scouts where from different parts of the world i would have them all get there powers at the same time and make it kinda like a star wars type of movie with 6 different stories linking together Lucas Arts would also do a good part for the movie heh maybe these same 3 could do a gg ppg movie too
